Remarks: This vessel is one of a fleet of 15 of its type used by the Royal Australian Navy and another 7 for the Army, built between 1978 and 1981. This class of vessel is now surplus to Navy requirements as later designs are now being used. Being a work boat /tug the accomodation is only basic but could be upgraded if required. The engines start up and run well and Chris personally assisted the owner to collect this craft from the RAN depot at Garden Island and steam her up to her current berth on the Swan River without any issues. This craft does need a good cosmetic tidy up. Call Steve Green 0401 656 415 or Chris Mews 0412 472 329 for details re inspection.
